Main Street Fayette

What is Main Street Fayette? We are a group of Fayette County citizens who are actively working to rebuild, revitalize and rebuild our community.

Ohio Main Street

The Ohio Main Street program was designed to improve all aspects of historic downtowns throughout Ohio by producing both tangible and intangible benefits. This program encourages dedicated groups to improve economic management while striving to strengthen public participation and making downtowns a fun place to be.

Main Street Fayette Committee

Main Street Fayette committee members are dedicated to applying these ideas to downtown Washington Court House.

This committee was formed with the intentions to revitalize downtown buildings in order to recruit new businesses and improve the look of existing businesses. We strive in every way possible to make this happen by applying for grants and educating building and business owners on what help is out there to offset their cost. It is important for committee members to work closely with business/building owners to create a downtown that's a prosperous place to shop, dine or just spend time admiring. The Main Street Fayette committee also works hard on creating fun family oriented events in the downtown to bring the community together in a fun atmosphere. Annually we provide the downtown events that are in conjunction with the Holiday Parade. We are currently working to create more family fun events in our downtown for our citizens and friends to enjoy.

While this committee is working hard to make our community a more prosperous place to be, this is a community effort. It is important for citizens of Fayette County to be involved! Together we can make a difference. If you would like to join and help revitalize the Downtown and Fayette County please contact Mekia Rhoades at (740) 313-7062 or Kelley Ford at
